I was my mother's sole provider for 15 years. Her insurance only helped 1% of the time. I don't know what is worse. Watching a community beloved woman slipping away and abandoned by friends, to no longer knowing who you are (mostly due to a med given without permission, but same dif eventually) or slipping away yourself. You would think they would have found the cure or preventative means by now. But with the current admin cutting health trial funding it pushes all advance's in everything back. All for couch change in rich tax cuts.

By the time i am that age it will probably be cured or manageable. but it terrifies me for my parents and grandparents. I had an uncle who had it and he had the best care possible and it was still a nightmare. I can say Biden definitely has had it since before the 2020 election because it matched up exactly with how my uncle was. No one listened to us until this year but we all knew.

Not too much, as it's not really running in my family. One grandmother had a milder form of dementia, but she still recognized us all and could communicate till the end.

I had to help someone around a store to find their wife as he had dementia and it was upsetting but I helped him
