I'm not so much scared as I am accepting, I think. I'm apprehensive, but not a concerning amount. A regular, healthy amount.

I know I need to do a lot more as I age to maintain the body and abilities I took for granted in my youth.

But with time and experience also comes a certain peace. And with age comes new experiences and new challenges.

It's a bittersweet sort of acceptance. A trade-off.

I just don’t want my death to be painful when I go to heaven, which is my goal. I don’t think it’s a big deal if I don’t get the same pleasures I did in my earlier life like carnival rides or fudge popsicles etc… I can survive with minimal stimulation.

So much. Aging isn't about not being sexy anymore or wrinkles. Its about not being Healthy and strong in a world that is not too merciful. Aging is aching back. Damaged knee joints. weak immune system, cancer, heart disease. Sight problems. Aging is returning to being like a child who needs care but ur parents are no longer around u to give it

Yeah I used to care so much but there isn't much I can do about it.. people think I am younger than I am so I suppose that is good enough.. I also don't want to get old.. here is to hoping I die sooner rather than later. :P

Yes.. I'm not afraid of physical ageing, but the way society treats older people, as if they are dumb or different and makes fun of them. I think that's the worst thing :( Even 30 is considered an old age

  Yeah but, too many people put too much stock into it! They think being 6-, 50 or even 30 is old!! So, as long as they THINK that way, they ARE old!! I just had a b-day 2 weeks ago and, except for the excess weight I've recently gained, I STILL feel like I'm in my 20's! and, except for the grey hair (thanks, mom!), I still LOOK like I'm in my 20's or early 30's!!
