Do you believe those "I didn't know I was pregnant" stories on TLC?

I find it hard to believe you can go 9 months without feeling any symptoms. I know that there is medical proof for the phenomenon called cryptic pregnancy but it just seems so unreal.

I’ve believed in miraculous pregnancies ever since my mom had my sister at 40. My mom’s tubes had been tied for 15 years. Of course, my mom knew she was pregnant, but I share this because my sister was a miracle. Many women who are featured on that show were told by doctors that they could never conceive. That’s why when they had symptoms, they thought it was something else. Also like my mom, many of those women thought it was “too late” for them to have a baby due to their age. Anyway, my short answer is yes. 100%, without a doubt, I believe those stories. 😊

It's also hard for me to believe in those stories but over the years I've met a lot of women who are really not in tune with their bodies and don't have enough knowledge so I guess it can happen.

You are not the only one to feel disbelief. An acquaintance felt severe disbelief when he got a phone from his ex's parents telling him he better get to the maternity ward because she was having his baby.

She had gone into labor on a night club dance floor. It wasn't a serious relationship and they had been formally broken up for 6 months before then.

The girl was upset that he wanted a DNA test but sure enough he was the daddy. The kids all good and likes going to the football with his dad.

You'd have to have really low IQ to not realize your pregnant. That's just my opinion. I don't buy it.

Sometimes women/girls carry the baby more towards their back rather than their abdomen so it's hard to tell.

One time I would have thought them nonsense. Then I joined GAG and realised how uneducated a lot of people are, especially on sexual matters. Now I find it plausible that these women not only didn't know they were pregnant but didn't understand how they got pregnant in the first place.

My daughter worked with a girl who was complaining of abdominal pain. They got severe enough that they called the paramedics. She was rushed to the hospital and she gave birth to a baby girl. She claimed that she did not know she was pregnant. My daughter said she was overweight to begin with so nobody really suspected it.

I'm hearing that a lot. I guess they don't feel it like the average woman would.

If one is fat enough, a pregnancy perhaps won't be noticed if one is dumb enough at the same time.

This happened to the girl next to my own then wife in the hospital when my then daughter was given birth.

Normally, I'd think that's crazy, but maybe not. The statistics may have convinced me. Literacy is plummeting (source, critical thinking and reasoning skills are atrophy, conscientiousness is going out of style and neuroticism is shooting through the roof.

I wouldn't have believed it up until recently. This time with my 6th pregnancy I had 2 full blown periods while being pregnant to the point i never tested because I thought I was just having really terrible periods and pms symptoms instead of pregnancy symptoms so yeah I could see how some women might not pick up on being pregnant

They say it happenes. Im not a gurl so I dont know .. I can say this is eat something I can feel it some times and it goes away. But if I eat some thing and it keeps growing in my stomach. Um I need to find out what's going on

Just a few days ago, a woman gave birth at Burning Man. Neither she nor her SO had any idea she was pregnant.

So I guess anything is possible.

Yes I really believe it and once worked around a woman who had that happen with her. The story was very tragic for both the newborn and the mother.

Depends. I had a friend who was kind a fat who had a baby when she was 16. We all just thought she was getting fatter until her water broke in class. She had no clue
