How does this happen? Why do we have to keep getting our prescriptions from China and India? Can't America even manufacture America's medicines we take here in America?

I have been prescribed Losartan. I just had the dosage adjusted. I go back to the doc in two weeks. I am going to do some research about this

I just looked through my 3 blood pressure medicines and I am on Losartan too!!

In fact, he just upped my dosage from 25 mg to 50 mg.

Unfortunately he's retiring now and that was our last visit. So please let me know what you find out during your research.

I am taking it because my calcium levels were above the HIGH levels in my blood tests.

What a quandary I am in now.🙄

My doc just added an additional 25 mg because my BP is still a little high. My mother was really skinny but she had blood pressure that was off the charts. I guess I can put up with this.

Pharma concerns aren't afraid of punishment anymore. There is silent permission from govt and it's agencies.

80% of medication components, especially those which patents runt out come from India and China. Chemical production causes often toxic waste it's cheaper to put into rivers than to utilize it.

Currently they can't even if they wanted to. Some components would need establishment of completely new production chain which don't exist anymore in EU or US. The second reason is gigantic profit margin for buying cheap medication components in India or China and selling it for lot of money in the west, margin is several hundred timse higher than cocaine smuggling. Since there are more users who consume medication daily than drugs.
Trump instead destroying smuggler boats in Caribbean sea should blast out of water some yachts on waters of Long Island and Monaco, those are true criminals.

Globalists got into power in the 50s and especially the 60s and have sent the world into a globalist system since then. Trump is the first major leader who has changed the game and is trying to restore national production of vital supplies. The globalists were happy to make the US dependent on countries hostile to us, setting us up for disaster, because disaster was the goal, or, rather, a vital step towards a one-world authoritarian government similar to China, with no rights, social credit scores, and mass surveillance, centrally controlled.

Trump working to make the US independent and end globalism is the REAL reason there was so much opposition to him being president. He's ruining the long term plans of the globalists who were nearly able to kick off the destruction that would allow them to replace the system of nations with a single global government. .

Unfortunately pharmaceutical medicines rarely seem to cure any major illnesses, rather they help manage them and there's usually a trade off that affects the body, the more you need to take the more it affects the body. So taking a cocktail of pills that you may need can actually be damaging your organs.

Manufacturing is not an issue, the formulation is provided by the American pharmaceuticals.

They are just sourcing from other countries most drugs will be patented formulation.
