Can you smell fear? What does it smell like?

I knew the answer was yes but I didn't know how to word it so, from google:
"Yes, you can "smell" emotions, although it's often a subconscious process where body odors carry chemical signals related to emotional states. Studies show that human sweat under different emotional conditions, such as fear or happiness, contains distinct chemosignals that others can detect and which can affect their own emotional and physiological responses."
And when I get really scared it also smells like pee. 😳
Yes. Due my profession I'm accustomed with smell of fear. Even thought patients feel nothing with modern local anesthesia but the fear is there and often smell of euphoria after treatment.
Fear smells like rubber tree (Ficus Elastica) it doesn't smell very intense but this is the smell of fear. I have this tree in bath where I have a bathtub, it likes high air moisture and I find this very subtle smell soothing.
However it's subjective others say it smells like fresh bread or like lime juice. After covid when I everything smelled like burnt plastic over months for me I don't trust my smell sense anymore.
Only in as much as they are associated with the release of response chemicals like adrenaline and endorphins. I do think some people are more in tune with their primal instincts and can somewhat detect these things. It’s difficult to be sure if they’re simply responding to micro expressions or if their other senses are more tuned in.
Emotions have not directly smells, but because they happen in our mind, in the brain, through feeling them in the body and guts, they may trigger the release of smells, or at least particular pheromones. No need to add we have no control over those phenomenons.

No. I think they have colours, not smells. Happy is yellow. Love is red. Sad is blue. Depressed or raging is black.
I take a bath or shower every day, and I use French aftershave so all my emotions are sweetness in themselves, even on a bad day.
But I rarely have an off day 🤣
Yes, but is it the body emanating a different odor, or is it your nose working differently?
I don't know that other emotions are detectable olfactorily by non-human animals, but my human nose has been able to detect fear.
It's really nasty.
I don't think emotions have smells. But smells definitely have the power to evoke emotions. Certain smells remind me of time spent during my younger years.
I smell a lot differently when I am stressed.
Fear has a smell. It's like a mixture of fish and dead rats.
I think the pheromones are a sign of something but are they scented?
They can read the body language and know the change in heartbeat
I'm pretty sure animals can smell all sorts of stuff we can't, emotions being one of them
Yes doing energy healing I can smell them leaving my body.
Another silly post. You understand the difference between literally smelling and figuratively
I don't think so
Hmm, I don't think so.
Fear and anger have an aroma.
Actually I'm glad you picked up on that
Poop.
I can smell her horniness 😈
