7 moAchilles tendonitis in both Achilles. ITBs in both knees. Lower cross syndrome. I went to therapy for the leg issues a few years back. Didn't really help. Recently, I asked chatgpt to create a routine for me to follow, that strengthens and mobilizes my tendons. Too soon to tell if It's really helping.

I had the same issue with both my Achilles. I got cortisone shots in each one last month and for the first time since I was a teenager I don't have any ankle pain.

That's great. However, I've read those are stop gaps if therapy is not pursued. And multiple shots can weaken connective tissue.

@SoccerPlayer99
I had horrible tendonitis in my left knee that was brought on by walking too many stairs and too many hills.
The doctor said not to ride a bicycle either.
It was so painful that when I got home after work, I would lay on my bed and bend my knees and cry a lot. I just put some pain cream on the knee everyday. I could hear it CRUNCH when I would unbend my knee.
I'm sure my condition wasn't what you have, but I mentioned it because I know that something similar to what you have is quite painful.
I have had cortisone shots in my neck before for about a year. I already had a connective tissue disease called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Many doctor misdiagnose people who have this but my doctor specializes in that disease.
I wish you the very best with keeping your pain to a minimum or none at all.🙂
When I moved away from there, it cleared up. - 7 mo
Thank you for sharing. Wait! You went somewhere that helped clear your injuries up?
- 7 mo
I can't do therapy. I've sprained my ankles so many times they are too weak. I'll need surgery eventually to "tighten the cables" but they feel great right now.

That sounds very painful!! Do you know what is causing it?
I can feel your suffering with this condition.
It seems like you would need to have to see a pain specialist for something like this.
I've lived with pain in my body that was so bad that I would scream even though I was on morphine. It was from burning, deep boring pain.
Finally I went to a wellness centre as an inpatient for 6 months and they made it better.
I'm so sorry that you are suffering from this. 😔 - 7 mo
Waste of money and often get conclusions like "nothing wrong with the results" I'm trying to get use to it

I usually get that soreness after training at the gym but I know this is normal and part of the post-training effects.
There is not much I can do about it but take either a hot shower or a hot bath and that soreness usually goes away after 24 hours.
I get that soreness often after having taken a break of several days horseback riding. Those sore muscles can be nasty 😊

Yes , I have a herniated disc in my lower back that shoots severe pain down my right leg , That I got from working out , so I been seeing a physical therapist and been getting injections in my lower back that helps relieve the pain for about a month , I have to get surgery , but they are trying to do everything they can to make me not get surgery because the surgery is a 50/50 chance , so they are trying to heal it i other ways first , My doctor told me it’s actually the insurance company making the decision , because they don’t want to pay for it , It’s so messed up

Be careful you don't cause it to flair up during love making. That would spoil a good moment 😛 - for sure.
So, 50/50 that the surgery would be successful?
The insurance companies always make us do the cheapest thing first and then the next cheapest on up until you've tried all of the other cheap remedies first. Then they might pay for a surgery.🤞🏼

u 7 moI dropped a Mag Lite (heavy flashlight) on my toe two weeks ago and it hurts like hell! The toe nail is still in place but turned black. When the pain gets too bad, I release a string of four-letter words and that seems to help as much as anything else.

Looks disgusting, doesn't it? 14 Reply- 7 mo
If I do something like that it always seems to land on my big toe joint. And yes, it hurts like the dickens.
- 7 mo
@NoDecision I have referred to it - facetiously - as my "near death" experience.

How long did it take you to stop hopping around yelling and screaming? 🤔
- 7 mo
@nodecisionnn It took about 30 minutes for it to stop bleeding. That's when I regained my composure.
537 opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. Pain all over, but it's the worst in my arm and leg muscles. Not much helps take it away completely, but Meloxicam helps take the edge off and not over doing it and pacing myself helps keep it from getting worse, also getting enough sleep helps and so does making sure I don't go too long without eating.
10 ReplyYes, depends on the day and what I'm doing
I've taken aspirin and IBUPROFEN as well as Hot showers or soaking in the Hot Pools.
Sex can also help relieve the pain due to endorphins!

I just learned yesterday that if you are taking blood pressure medicine you cannot take ibuprofen!
I have been doing this for years!! My doctor or pharmacist never to me that
In fact, Ibuprofen raises blood pressure!!
Today is my first day of going without my Ibuprofen and I am paying hell for it.😔
Remember to eat something or drink whole milk to coat your stomach before taking aspirin or ibuprofen because if you don't, you'll end up with a hole in your gut.
Ibuprofen and aspirin thin your blood, so please keep that in mind.🙂 - 7 mo
Very familiar with that, sounds like you need a new pharmacist and/or doctor along with reviewing your meds and adjusting or switching to a different blood pressure med. There's also several fruits like grapefruit that mess with BP meds.
Medicine as a whole is a horrible practice that's not gotten better it's gotten more into money then helping people. Doctors took a oath and they don't stand behind it now.
I have a serious disgust towards medical people almost as much as religious people. They both are the root evil of political people who all need money instead of being humans trying to help.
Granted this is my personal belief based on my experience and life happenings.

7 moI lift. Heavy. Every day I carry some combination of lower back strain, burning thighs, sore shoulders and a general, background of what can best be described as 'uggh'. The best part of my week is the morning after rest day... and before I squat again. Sometimes I injure myself and get some time off.

I'm sorry I hear that 7!! I was just thinking the other day what causes someone to have to have to total hip replacement.
One elderly lady fell down and had to have one. But other than that what causes it?
Man, 😎 take care! 🫂🧡🤞🏼
7 moLuckily I don't. When I have some sort of pain is usually because I hurt myself.

@Kelly6
Leg cramps is something you should see a doctor about. I've watched a lot of medical videos and I've seen leg cramps as a symptom of some medical conditions, or low sodium or vitamin deficiencies.
Just check them out with your hands and feel for any blood clots, because they can cause a stroke if it travels to your heart or lungs.
I was just thinking about you yesterday Kelly and wondering how giving birth went for you.
What's her name? I want details honey.
