What do you think of women that had a C-section?

This came into a discussion with a couple friends. Someone really though it was a short-cut to the whole painful process of giving birth and the woman got lucky.

Nope it's not. Generally the woman wants to have a natural birth but for some reason she has her baby vía C-section. One friend explained that 7 skin layers were cut, there is still pain the following day and the recovery process Is 2-3 times longer than a natural birth.

What do you think of those that couldn't give birth naturally? What comes to mind?

I remember when Victoria Beckham had her first child, Brooklyn, and it was reported she had a c section and the media said she was “too posh to push” That may or may not be the case but in most situations a c section is a result from a difficult or emergency labour. When I had my son he had stopped breathing so they had to perform an emergency section to get him out and get him breathing again. If a woman’s birth plan is natural labour why judge her if things happen out of her control? We shouldn’t judge a woman on how she gives birth. (Just saying)

When hearing about a woman who had a C-section, the takeaway for me is the admiration for her strength during an unexpected and difficult medical event and empathy for her subsequent surgical recovery.

You gotta do what it takes to get the kid to come out if they won't use the chute provided for them.
I have a friend that was Cesarian-born. You can't really tell except that he comes in and out of a room through the window instead of the door.

Nothing. I don´t know enough to have an opinion about as I´ve never spent time reasearching that topic or thinking about it.

I don't think much of it. For some women is really necessary to have a C section due to health complications. I wouldn't judge a woman who chooses to have a C-section either.

In most cases, they're not required.

They happen because it's easier for the doctor. And they make more money
