If you were diagnosed with a terminal illness, would you want to ride it out to the end or end it all early?

I’m thinking of things like alzheimer’s and dementia where you lose a lot of yourself before you ever reach the end, or simply just the stark difference of being well versus being connected to about 6 different machines keeping your barely-conscious body alive in a hospital bed. I’m not sure which I would choose, honestly

There is still things to do for myself and others. And no matter how limited, I'm going to keep trying

I'd ride it out i never give up plus what if they come out with some miracle cure but you kill yourself two days before its released

Early, but not too early. I’d say that at a certain point I want to be put down. Maybe that point could be once I forget one of my kids, so no matter how much they insist I am utterly convinced that they are not my child. At that point it’d be time to let me go.
