If you were diagnosed with a terminal illness. Would you live it out or end it?

Personally I couldn’t do it, and it’s simply because I’ve had several relatives live it out and lemme tell you, it is hard. It’s hard to see a relative suffer until they finally go, I couldn’t put them through that.


I would just make the announcement and have a family function so I could spend one last day with them and then the following morning eat the barrel of my 45.

Well my brother in laws grandma had an assisted suicide because she became bed ridden and had pain she didn't want to live that life. I guess it depends on how long I had to wait. Like if I was on morphine and only had a month left I would live it out, but if it was like a year or two of suffering I might end it depends on my thoughts of these are my last days or if the pain was over bearing or not.

That makes sense. That’s the other thing I don't know who would want to suffer in pain until they go, that’s not an ideal way to live.

As for the morphine I could definitely see that for I have had it administered once and it was compatible for me, but it doesn’t work for everyone apparently. It definitely rids of all the pain almost instantly

Yeah that’s what the nurse told me after she asked me if I have ever had it. Aside from an allergic reaction, people can have a freak out which could be dangerous too. Cause the heart rate accelerates like crazy.

You could literally be in a pain scale of 9-10 and within seconds you’ll feel fine. And that’s putting it lightly

Sure! I got in a really bad motorcycle accident. My entire leg was sprained all the way down to my ankle. My entire leg swelled up x2 it’s size and I had serious road rash on my arm and side

I have permanent nerve damage in my calf lol I can still walk and everything but it feels weird when I touch the damaged nerve

If I squat down you can see the nerve popping out of my skin… it makes some people cringe in agony seeing it.

If you know what varicose veins are, the shape of it is kinda like that lol but the skin above it is the same color as all my other skin.

Two friends of mine, Frank and Dennis were both diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer and told similar lengths of time. Each had undergone different treatments. Both of them exceeded expectations and lived over twenty years passed their due dates of about six months. They're dead now, having loved to 94 and 81 respectively.

Live it out, honestly. Suicide or assisted suicide would be the last thing I would want to do. The only time ending it would cross my mind is if I was bed ridden, no longer cognizant of my surroundings and my organs were on death's door.

Numb me up at that point and send me off to Foghat's Slow Ride.

And the thing is, ALZ is when your brain literally rots in your skull. So the whole time you have this massive migraine.

I know this because the doctor that would come over to my grandparents house told me this after I asked him due to my grandmother always looking like she’s in pain. Being in that level of pain for that long? You got me fucked up

At some point you've got to really ask yourself what's more humane and be cirtical and rational about it. I would hate to look after someone who is in constant pain, lowkey would break me in the long run.
