Why do supposedly equally qualified doctors keep giving exactly opposite medical advice to one another?

My old doctor had me on a zero carbs diet with eating no fruit except lemon juice in water. Eating eggs and meat and beans only. With that diet, I initially lost 43 pounds, but over time it stopped working anymore. This doctor has since retired.

Since the old doctor retired, the doctors I've been seeing since then want me to eat as much as TEN SERVINGS per day of fruits and vegetables. I don't do this, because I know T2 Diabetics are not supposed to eat anywhere near that much carbs. If I ate that much carbs, I'd weigh over 300 lbs by now.

Should I find a new doctor and a new clinic? these people seem to screw everything up anyway.

I swear, I am going to cut to 185lbs again somehow even if I die trying.
