Acne flare up, it’s been like this for two weeks any suggestions?

Was an ongoing problem for me for a long time. I had a good dermatologist who treated me with antibiotics for a long time, but there is a serious problem with long term use of antibiotics, and I encountered them, so if you look for treatment discuss the use of antibiotic with him/her.

'Fashionista Amy gave good advice also, a good dermatologist will also say "Hands down" from effected area, and I, to this day, use a good antibacterial soap, and ask your pharmacist for advice about that.

I feel like a lot of people sleep on antibacterial soap. My friend and I both had bad acne when we were younger and someone told her to use that instead, it worked, and she talked me into using it too.

• Have you been eating anything that you normally don’t? Should probably eliminate it if possible. Fried foods make me break out for example so I don’t eat them
• Drink more water. Staying hydrated makes a huge difference
• Dial anti-bacterial soap or Clean & Clear morning burst generally work for me. Neither are harsh. For me personally some of the ‘more effective’ brands dry my face out and make it worse
• No makeup while it’s there

Wash your face, dab the area with witch hazel and air dry. dab A LITTLE bacitracin on anything scabby and go to sleep. Repeat till they go away.

DON'T wear any makeup while that's healing.

If it persists past a week, go see a doctor.

Don't pick it anymore. Exfoliate in the shower and use spot treatment or acne patches. Also make sure to stay hydrated
