How can I cope with noisy libraries as a sound-sensitive autistic person?

I've been trying to study and the librarians talk really loudly and everyone is using it as a social occasion. I am autistic and sound sensitive and I can't concentrate at all. What would you suggest?

I’m surprised there is loud noise at a library, the whole point is quiet.

Find the most quiet place possible, put on your headphones (maybe play some music that helps you study / focus) and get to studying.

All libraries I've ever been to had a very strict policy. No talking, no phone use. The head librarian should enforce those rules.

I'm sound sensitive as well, I need quiet surroundings to study and read, except when it's a casual read.

You must be really, really noise sensitive as libraries are typically not noisy at all.
