What is the most powerful ‘drug-like’ feeling you’ve ever experienced?

We are all human bodies and we react to things. Everything in a way, is a catalytic drug.

Which do you think are the best? Might even think about that in terms of categories.

Medical: Morphine! Felt no pain, and no worries.

Life: Love or sex release are strong drug feelings.

Youth: Seeing someone you strongly love or desire

Food: Something sweet, is a strong drug.

Spiritual: God is certainly in a way, a drug... spiritual connection creates a strong elation feeling.

Have you ever been addicted? That's the problem... getting addicted, and then coming down to reality.

The most powerful 'drug-like' feeling I've ever experienced was the last 1/2 second or so of consciousness before my cardiac arrest events stopped the flow of blood to my brain.
They happened twice within a half hour of each other while having a widow maker heart attack, two years ago.

At 1/2 second in duration, they didn't last long, but they were extremely powerful.

The pain of the heart attack was extremely severe until that last 1/2 second, then a moment of very woozy near-nirvana-like bliss before collapsing.

makes a lot of sense honestly, our brains are what's sensing pain, as all that shuts down and conencts back into the "all that is", it's good again. Sounds like a great experience and fortunate you survived to tell about it. See anything interesting?

Yes, what I experienced in those very fleeting nirvanic moments makes sense to me, too.

The story is a very long one, and the whole experience was extremely horrific, especially the interminably long-lasting horrible journey back to consciousness.

Sometimes I feel like talking about it more than others.
I think I'll decline further comment for now.

I will say that it's an experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone.

I dated a girl for a few months. She had some kind of weird pheromones or something. Some nights we would just go off in my car and just kiss each other. I really fell for her hard and fast. I used to wake up the next morning with some kind of weird hangover and could not wait until the next weekend when we would see each other again.

She dumped me and I really did not know if i could live without her.

When I get obsessed over something or someone. It's a powerful 'drug like' feeling for me but rare when I feel it.

One time when I was getting jumped. I've done all kinds of drugs but one time when I was getting jumped I had a crazy out of body experience where I watched the fight take place from birds eye view. I was in a flow state. Almost felt like a video game

That's cool, thats what I hear of people whom have near death. your spirit went free for a while. unique experience. Id think that send you on a spiritual path realizing... we are not trapped in this body forever.
