I was cutting up a scotch bonnet pepper, I washed my hands ( not well enough) and rubbed my eyes

I made a minor mistake. Recently i forgot to reload the card, "Reloadable prepaid card- bus train pass" so that was stupid. i remembered too late , so i paid for one trip in addition to the reloading, a few minutes later! So it didn't even count for the 12 in the new system- since the betrayal by new mayor in new York! "Vote for me for free busses" people hoped until he betrayed us! Now we lost monthly pass for a more expensive system weekly instead of free as he said. Betrayal.

I hate when that happens.

I can't recall any recent bonehead mistakes that I've made, although I've certainly made my share of them over the years.

I do know that I feel really stupid if I take Xanax for anxiety two days in a row.
It helps the anxiety, but not so much the pre-frontal cortex.

It wasn't recently but it was stupid. I was trying to super glue a piece of plastic that had fallen off of something.

The super glue wasn't working very fast and I had to keep reapplying it and hold it until it dried.

I ended up gluing all of my fingers together and had to go to the emergency room at the hospital 🏥

Jacked my car up to change the tire and i didn't pay attention to where to put the jack.  Well the jack went though the car floor and I almost got hurt

Yep, I have done that with a Carolina Reaper pepper, I thought I washed my hands thoroughly. Then I tried to take my contacts out. Now I always use gloves!
