What did it feel like the very first time you got high on weed?

I got high on weed the first time and promptly had a panic attack and wound up in an emergency room. As a result, I wasn't able to identify it as a panic attack at the time because I was too young and didn't even know what a panic attack was. It was an exceedingly negative experience. I didn't try weed for about five years after that, but eventually I did, and it was a pretty mellow, nice experience the second time. I don't use it now.

I FU*KING loved it the first time I smoked!! —Some people (like my brother) it didn’t ‘take’ (guess he didn’t inhale well enough the first few times) … but it was with my granola crunchie Birkenstock wearing tie-dyed biology partner, who was a stoner, and he got us the weed, and he came with me and my friend (who drove) to some tiny park after dark, and we smoked out of a steam roller made from toilet paper roll insert, behind this outdoor bandstand stage thing. I wasn’t sure what I was going to feel, and we kinda made our way back to the car. But It had a creeper kinda effect. When we got in, it hit us hard! I felt so silly, and we literally busted out laughing like I hadn’t ever laughed before. Everything was funny! We couldn’t stop laughing, and all felt so goofy and we were tripping, and laughing… it was great. It took us like 2 hours to be able to leave, and even then, we’re still giggling and though our friend was driving weird. But we went to In-n-out on Santa Anita, in Arcadia, and felt totally awkward but had the munchies and everything. Looking back, it seem quaint and real innocent. Fair to say that I’ve smoked a few truck loads of weed since, and it’s completely different now.

The first time I tried weed… I was with my ex and I remember looking into the mirror after taking a couple of puffs lol… and looking at myself.

And I remember being very aware of everything… my face.. my lips… the way his hands felt on me.

Anyway, after we had sex, I relaxed and closed my eyes. When I opened them I couldn’t move… or talk. I had the worst panic attack of my life lol.

I wouldn't know, I've been a good girl all my life when it's come to using substances. Never done drugs, never smoked, rarely even do caffeine. Heck I was over 21 before I ever tried alcohol and even now I rarely do that.

Of course, where I say I am being a good girl, others would call me boring. So to counteract that point, I will confess to being interested in trying a gummy and seeing how that affects me and if it could help with my anxiety and agoraphobia. I do fear being drug tested at a job though so that's why I dont give in to that temptation.

Don't use any cannabis or cannabis products. If you are having anxiety. They will make me anxiety worse in most cases.

It largely depends on whether you use cannabis sativa or cannabis indica. Cannabis indica can be very sedating, although it is often mixed with cannabis sativa, which kind of blunts the sedating effect and may give you a panic attack. Cannabis sativa, on the other hand, is much more likely to cause a lot of anxiety and panic attacks, and it's not recommended for people that have pre-existing anxiety. Since you can't really control how much of a given blend is cannabis sativa and how much is cannabis indica, I would recommend that you stay away from it altogether. If you are going to use it, then you should certainly smoke it rather than ingesting it, because you can control the dose effects a lot more carefully that way. If you ingest it, on the other hand, you take what you take and you wait about 30 minutes and then you see if you've taken too much or too little. That's a bad way to find out whether or not you're going to have a panic attack. Smoke it if you have to. Don't smoke just one or maybe at the most one and a half hits at a time. Give it time to take effect and see how you feel.

Well, definitely DON’T start with edibles, if you’re worried about anxiety. They are very strong, and metabolized by the body very differently than just having a puff (so to speak). With smoking, you can always go slow, and regulate your high a little better than edibles— which when they hit, may hit stronger than you’d expect, and there’s no going back if it’s too much, you’re stuck on the merry go ride, riding it out.
Plus if your job isn’t one that regularly tests or screens for drugs, than usually they have to have a suspicion or reason to test, so just don’t give them one. Plus do you know what drugs they test for, if the did test you? Maybe weed isn’t one of them, if you’re in a more liberal (blue) state, and not Louisiana or Mississippi with their draconian zero tolerance bullsh*t.

I can't see myself smoking anything. Just never felt comfortable with the idea.

I get that edibles may be stronger and for that reason I may not do it. Im currently looking for work so I imagine they will do a drug test upon hiring so I can't do it for now anyway.

Practically nothing more than a light buzz (equivalent to a beer), because the body doesn't know what to do with THC. And if you smoke rarely, it practically stays that way. The last time I smoked at a party with some fulltime stoners, years ago, they fell asleep, but I just had the giggles for 15 minutes and felt really calm.
