I've been doing sports for 30 years or so, which is kind of a full body workout activity, that's what has kept me fit all along... but, unfortunately, sadly and tragically... that will come to a stop
the weather is too hot, and a lot of people have just stopped practicing sports... and I of course, can't do it on my own... team sports need other people, eager and active too, and that's just hard to find nowadays... people don't go out anymore!!
anyway... for the first time I ever, I'm working out, it's my second week, but as you said I don't care about muscles, well... I don't need to have volume/muscles, I'm already 200pounds of athletic build, and I don't want to feel like a meat refrigerator so... I'm just going for functionality so... calisthenics is going to be the way for me to do that, there's a couple more things I'm working on but most of it, is functional working out just so I can feel fit but not bigger and not heavier
90kg? That's already a meat refrigerator to me lol unless you're really tall maybe
@Maybe_Maybe_not I'm not that tall either...
186cms
but yeah, I am around 90kilos heavy... which is just more dense/functional fiber muscle... rather than volume muscle, because of sports and well... renovating my house for the last six years or so, lol
All right so you're a football player, based on my own reference points of course
@Maybe_Maybe_not football, soccer, rugby, kick-boxing... Lego blocks
Well at least we have one thing in common and it's not rugby
@Maybe_Maybe_not Legos are awesome
They were, I respect that heritage 🙏🏼
I care about muscle. But not useless bulk for the sake of appearance like body builders. I care about functional strength that allows me to do all the stuff I want to do.
Cardio and resistance training go hand in hand for a well rounded fitness program that will let you run, swim, ski, ride a bike, play tennis, zip up and down stairs, carry groceries into the house, hike or backpack, toss a frisbee or a football, and just generally be athletic.
How much cardio vs how much resistance training depends where you are starting from and what your goals are. Also, I used to do a lot of running. When I got into resistance training I found that the added variety was nice as a change to keep me from getting bored and it cut down on my overuse injuries from running. Likewise I bought a water rower and that is the fastest way to kick your ass in a workout with minimum time spent. It works 82% of the muscles in your body with zero impact.
I just want to stay active and capable in my everyday life. My goal isn’t anything extreme.. I want to have enough strength, energy, and mobility to move comfortably, keep up with daily activities…and feel good in my body over time…
i am just trying to stay toned mostly💪🏻💪🏻 and to work on my 🍑

Then you would love repetitive activities like swimming, biking, dancing, yoga/pilates and honestly walking is so incredibly underrated and it conditions ur joints and muscles. Honestly big muscles aren’t that necessary but functional muscles are and if they grow a little bit any ways in ur journey, the more power to ya.
Iam the same way I just want to be able to ride my bike for 20 -30 miles and not be hurting or hike 20 miles and not feel sore nice picture by the way lol I saw influencer by your name for a second I was about to block you but I couldn’t find you in the list of bots so I won’t lol I am working on blocking them all except one I think I can put up with one they are on probation though haha
Ya feel better? Posting online gym pics? Did you get your attention?
Well, I will keep telling my son and any young men I know to flee from girls posting skimpy thirst traps for all men to see and who crave online attention.
No such woman is a long term quality person. Anyone worth havinf a family with are not out there posting thirst traps.
The materialistic, hedonistic skanks do that.
