    Well I think the important thing is not avoiding and acknowledging… how you are feeling.
    It’s okay to not be okay. It’s okay to sit with uncomfortable feelings and process it in your own space.
    It’s okay to try to not dwell on it too long and give yourself a deadline when to be productive to allow yourself to be able to get to your normal day to day routine. Example, by 6pm I’m going to shower, watch my fave show, and eat dinner.
    Coping comes with finding things that has worked in the past or doing things that you know might be helpful and may want to try (ie listening to music, taking that 15-30 min walk, talk to your close friends, journaling, listening to a podcast, find funny TikToks, that warm bath or shower, skin care, do some art expressions etc)

    Which means, if you are not in the mood, just move your body for the sake of moving. That will get you in the mood eventually.

    Depression doesn't come too often for me. But true depression is a difficult nut to crack. It's easy to talk about what to do when your depressed but when your actually depressed everything is hard, even trying to fake a smile.

    The best advice for depression is to consider what your grateful for. If you are truly grateful for yourself and what you have it's harder to be depressed.

    I also try to focus on the small things that bring me joy. Anything, could be your favorite jam on your toast. Or a new pair of comfortable shoes.

    Try to take time to show up for yourself and do things that matter to you.

    Find someone that cares that you can communicate your feelings to.

    I try to keep a bright outlook on life and sex etc. But we all have some down days. Try to get outside, get a little sun on you, go for a walk or a run. If it gets worse seek some help. What is depressing you?

      Try to see the positive side of things when you can. Also try not to watch the news (it is worse in the USA.. believe me) as it is often depressing.

    I wish I could switch on 'emotion chip' to have depression for a day.
    Emotional void sounds terrible for emotional people but you won't hear a stone complaining about lack of air.
