I did a 47 minute 10k on the back half of a half marathon. I'm not exactly sure how I did it. Lol
Very impressive. The last kilometers of a marathon are brutal.
The marathon doesn't start till around 30 k.

Uh I walked for 1 hour and 45 minutes straight, wearing boots, with a big backpack.
The last 15 minutes, my right hip asked me wtf was going on, I told it to shut up. It kept saying that for the next 3 days.
Maybe I should have taken the bus.

after 30 years of team-sports... and refusing to workout "by myself" I am finding it quite, good... not as bad as I thought it could maybe, be
I don't really keep records of what I do too much. Not since I was in high school, doing behind-the-back hand-clapping push-ups. Now, the only thing close to it is just kicking a ball against the wall, which I don't really track how much I do. But sometimes, when people walk by where I do it, I get an audience and people saying "Wow, is he a pro?" and stuff like that. Especially so with the kids in the area.
Not a personal record per se but I’ve basically been in maintenance mode for probably 2 decades. I’ve been as strong as I want to be and as big as I want to be and as fast as I want to be while wearing the same size clothes for the last 20 years. I hardly ever miss a workout.
It’s actually really easy to stay fit once you get fit.
It has been a long time since I was able to compete in road races. After having a hip replacement I found a great source of pride to be able to put my socks on without using the Sock Aid.
Also- what did you do in the Half Marathon?
I'm not really trying to break any records or reach new heights... Just doing the same boring routine to stay in shape.

@queenofcardio Wilderness camping for weeks, and eat what we fish
I hiked like 11 miles in one day once. Or maybe 14 even, I don't remember. It wasn't by choice. And another time I cycled like 20 miles in one day
