Tooth powder vs toothpaste: which is better for daily use?

I prefer toothpaste. If it's better or not, no idea.
I have never heard of tooth powder before.

You don't need a more abrasive tooth cleaning on a daily basis. That's for your twice or three times a year cleanings. And flouride treatment of water has lead to US teeth having fewer cavities.
Something that is far better for your teeth than tooth powder are water piks. Great for gums and removing loose food particles and of course flossing.
Never heard of tooth powder unless you’re using baking soda to clean your teeth, which some people do but I use toothpaste that is actually made in Germany that I bought in Poland and I also have some Italian toothpaste called Marvis, the import stuff is better than what you get in the USA
Ther most important thing is the correct use of the toothbrush. You need to brush your teeth in a correct fashion. It makes the whole difference.
I rarely show up these days.
I've never tried the powder but I have a friend that uses one and tbh, her teeth are grey and unattractive. I don't know if they're healthy.
But, why? Standard, whitening fluoride toothpaste is safe, healthy and cosmetically better.
I don't use either I have upper and lower Dentures now. And I use Polident to soak and clean my teeth now.
Never tried it. I like the all natural and I like the fact that it doesn't contain fluoride. I'll have to give it a try.
I use Dr. Bronner's organic toothpaste. No fluoride or chemicals.
I gag (not G@G) on toothpaste, so I dry brush, followed by using a WaterPik.
Maybe toothpaste is easier to use... but varies from person to person..
For most people, including me, toothpaste is better for daily use because it’s easier to use safely and usually contains fluoride, which helps prevent cavities.
I use toothpaste but in my childhood I have used powder few times as well. Now I prefer toothpaste.
I don't know never knew there was a powder for teeth so I can't compare the two
I used Colgate tooth powder as a kid. Toothpaste is much nicer to use.
I can't honestly say that I have ever heard of "tooth powder." You learn something new every day.
Old term but very popular method of cleaning teeth
Powder can scratch off the enamel from what my dental hygienist saids I'll go with her opinion!
Never heard about tooth powder, i always use a tooth pase (colgate) hehe
If it doesn’t contain fluoride, then how do you fight against cavities?
I don't think it matters one way or the other. It depends on what you like.
