An ex boyfriend i had, who killed himself, i often find myself thinking of things we did together and just overall reminiscing him. One time, he got a small knife, cut the palm of his hand open, and mine. We held hands, so our blood could mix together and then we’d be a part of eachother. I honestly think it’s really cute, but my friends tell me it’s weird and disturbing?

Not weird to me, blood pacts are symbols, they aren't harmful in itself. It's a peculiar ritual yep, not everyone is into that, but again, as a single event, it's not harmful.

Your friends might be just worried that you conflate the memory of this ritual with the events surrounding the death of the one you loved.

I'm sorry for your loss, it's a terrible event to face, especially at such a young age.

We used to poke the end of each other's finger and draw a little bit of blood. Then we would touch each other's finger and our blood would bond us.

This was when we were teenagers and everyone was doing it.

It made us blood brothers and blood sisters.
