Of course. I've been giving them for 30+ years, too. The "deep tissue" I learned was actually a 6-step progression of technique as much or more than increased pressure. If someone is giving you a rubdown/Swedish massage, then all they are doing is giving you more pressure: it, it is not true "deep tissue" work.

I get deep tissue massages a few times a year but I don't particularly enjoy them. I find them quite painful in the moment but the after is worth the suffering.
I don't know how you can enjoy it.

No. Never had one. I just don’t someone touching me like that. They have provided them at the office which I found odd that people would get a massage in the hallway, same for when they used to do it in malls.
