Melatonin is good. Also sleep hygiene. Turn off electriconics at night. Only use your bed for sleeping don't use the phone in bed nothing but sleep.

No coffee after 3pm not even decaffeinated. Don't eat anything for a few hours before you go to bed, so your body doesn't have to metabolize any food and can shut off.

There are none. Legislation sees to it that anything strong needs a prescription. I got Diazepam (Valium) and still had to take twice the recommended dosage for an effect.

People always say 'melatonin', which I just don't get. I could swallow a whole bottle and it would have no effect. You need the hard stuff.

True Dat. Nyquil is my go to solution when I have a cold. 6-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Never used it for general sleep problems but it should work in a pinch as a one time or once in a while solution.
