How "attached" are you to your routine?

A friend just started a new business -- the same business she'd planned to start out ~15-20 years ago. For that long stretch of time she was functioning on the same stop-and-start routine.

It's only a few weeks ago that she finally broke the cycle (after years of therapy) to start a new, positive cycle. I'm so happy for her... This has been such a long time coming. The issue was that she had been attached to a very toxic routine till recently, chasing the wrong people, distracting herself with things that are simply not important (or healthy) for her personal or professional development.

Now she's attached to this new routine, which is good. She's focused and happy.
