Why do 99% of techniques out there repress our adrenaline one way or another? Designed to fail for repeat customers? Chronic stress industry?
And yes, stalkers too. Have a crush, ask her out, get rejected, then sit and feel it the sadness, sadness is beneficial as hell. The body has a finite amount of resources and does an amazing job keeping a balance until your intellect disrupts it. Your body will compensate with a terrific relaxation once you're done being sad.
Ruminating, whining, are not forms of feeling it out. They intellectualize and create ideas about events. Ruminating is the polar opposite of feeling it out. Sucking it out of the soul into the cold mineral intellect.
When you tell someone not to cry about it... what do they do? They either think about it, or they act about it, often chronically storing in the muscles causing bad posture.
Feelings are the only harmless exhaust pipe, and yes, they strengthen the soul and elevate moral intuition.

If you teach a five year old to feel out the feeling, when he's an adult he'll lash out at people and get in a shit load of trouble.
The inability to control emotions is linked to low intelligence and poor up bringing. Its a major factor holding people back in life.
Lol. Totally opposite. People lash out because they want an external outlet and their inner capacity to feel is small.
Running from emotions isn't controlling them. It is literally self induced dissociation. Which turns you into a freud machine precisely acting out what you run away from.
good point
I feel ashamed of talking about rehab and therapy.
Not because i changed my mind. But because it is disastrously unproductive cope, just more tools to run away from our souls.
