What is the risk of birth defects when parents are closely related?

I knew teo girst cousinsvthst hot married and had three kids two girls and one boy. The girls were a mess there arms came out of their chests thrif faces and heads were messed up, had breathing problems and neither lasted past their 5th birthday. The boy was normal.

@thelovelywoman don't know the facts in terms of birth defects, and how long it takes to show up in offspring. I always thought it was immediate?
