Did the threats directed at you to make you do something when you were little lead to trauma?

When I was little, my mother used to say that if I didn't eat properly, I would get pinworms in my intestines. Pinworms usually stem from a lack of hygiene. As for me, I wash my hands three times after using the toilet. Every time I have a bowel movement, I make sure to clean up in the bathroom and disinfect my hands with cologne. If I could, I would probably set everything on fire. Incidentally, even though my mother had said this was caused by a poor diet, I didn't remember the actual reason when I grew up; the only thing that stuck with me was the fear she had instilled in me.

Pinworms are caused by other people's lack of hygiene just as much as your own. It only takes one kid in school touching a door handle with pooie fingers for it to spread.

I can't remember having any threats directed at me growing up. I was neglected but never threatened.
