Nope! I believe this has gotten way out of proportion.
I heard yesterday that there was like 1600 cases. I don't know how true that is, but you almost have to think that there's an alterior motive behind this.
I receive at least 5 notifications per day about this. Way too many!

Thankfully no. The bad product that has carried this problem has reached the state in the midwest that I live in, but I don't know anyone that has had it yet. Most restaurants around here including the hotel I work at have thrown out all the lettuce products we get in as a precaution.
I hear or read that it is a nasty thing to get that lands a lot of folks in the hospital. Nothing around here so far that I've heard of.
I love lettuce and bought two bags of romaine hearts yesterday. Probably a bad idea, but I love eating salads so damn the torpedoes! 😎
