What is the most stressful experience you’ve ever gone through?

I’ve been in jail several times. It’s no bueno. The worst was a weekend in a dormitory cell. There were at least a dozen guys and the toilet stalls only had half doors on them.
There was also a deck of cards and one day a guy with white pride tattoos was playing cards with a couple of black dudes. It got a little heated and i was sure i was going to get dragged into some kind of race riot.
There was an upside though. The sheriff deputies running the jail had a sense of humor. We had TVs and they had cable or satellite connections, but the cops controlled the box. It seems that “Cops” is on one channel or another almost any given time of day. So that’s pretty much all we watched unless one of the more charismatic inmates could persuade them to put on some sporting event. 😂😂😂
My second greatest fear was that i would get myself in trouble with my mouth. There was always some jack*ss yelling at the tube “I would run there” or “I would hide here”; usually more than one and often in some form of agreement or disagreement about the best way to elude the authorities. From inside of a jail cell, that is unbelievably clueless and i was constantly thinking “If you had any expertise in eluding the police, you wouldn’t be here yelling at “Cops” on the TV!”. Ell oh ell! I wasn’t sleeping well either and it could have slipped out at any time.

I haven't been through any that were super stressful. I would say one more recently was when I applied to get into a university that I badly wanted to get into. I waited and waited for the acceptance letter that never came.

I didn't want to be a pest so I just waited a lot longer than was necessary before contacting them. Turns out that it was lost in the mail and they sent a new one accepting me as a student.

Seeing a relative that was one of the nicest get diagnosed with cancer, struggle with treatment and ultimately pass away.
