Is it normal to have grey hairs at 30?

I started going grey a lot last year and I’m 30 now and I’m seeing even more now. How old were you when your hair turned grey? I feel like an old lady. Is it premature greying to have a bunch of greys at 29 and 30?

Yeah, a lot of people start going gray in their early 30's. I know guys who had receding hairlines in college and by 30 they were going with the shaved stubble look. My dad had jet black hair with only a few gray strands into his 60's. It's the genetic lottery.

I think i started greying in my late 30's. I honestly thought it was just blonde whiskers in my facial hair till it started popping up in my sideburns. I will say this though. It really hasn't progressed though. It seems to be as little as it was in my late 30's. Not that i would care if it progressed. It's just hair.

I had a classmate who was only 12 or 13 years old with her hair being white with a little black hair

At her age it was a genetic problem because that isn't normal.

At 30 years old that is still young to be having white hair but if you are white then its expected because white people have less melanin in their hair structure that causes them to lose their hair original color.

My 10th grade history teacher and his wife went grey in a year. They weren't grey at all at the beginning of the school year, by the end they both were. They were in their mid 30s. I started balding in college, I'm bald, and have been since before I graduated college.

It is normal. Some begin even earlier. I have five or six I think.  I don't wanna dye those hairs because in my opinion they look kind of dope lol.

My sister's hair started turning white at 25... My hair is full and dark brown with the odd fine silver hair here and there at age 64 (when I let it grow out. Keeping it shaved is less trouble)

Some people get gray hair earlier than others. I think the comedian/actor/writer Steve Martin was gray at the age of 32.

Very. My dad was all gray when he was thirty. More common among guys, but it happens to girls too, especially if you have really dark hair.
