As an update - where do you guys like to get your favorite dessert from? A favorite store/bakery, a restaurant that does it right, your mother/grandmother's homemade baking...?

I am all about Italian desserts and pastries (as well as some Greek.)

If you come to my kitchen around holidays, I can guarantee you to see some of the following: tiramisù, cannoli, sfogliatelle, cookies (anisette, pizzelle, amaretti, ossi de morti, etc), various cakes and pies, etc.

Also, I am currently working on my repertoire for Greek sweets.

Kourabiethes/Greek butter cookies, are my favorite, at the moment.

CHEESECAKE. Preferably homemade so I can make it how I want it. I'm kind of picky about cheesecake texture and consistency, lol. There's only one grocery store in my town whose bakery makes cheesecake up to my standards. =P I mean I enjoy all of it, but a truuuuly great cheesecake is something else.

ah love ice cweem! Actually, its even more fun to make your own! :D you can either do it by hand, with salt and ice and bags, or you can get an ice cream turner thing, which is cool. I bet that'd be a fun mini-date.

i don't even know why I'm just a big pie person! lol I love fruit pies like apple, pumpkin, cherry...yea now I'm craving pie lmao but yea pie is definitely my favorite :) and my mom's pumpkin pies are the best thing ever!

Is there an option for all of the above? =P I picked A though, I love little baked goods like that. I usually just bake the stuff myself. Or sometimes I'll go to a bakery I like for some pastry.
