Would you honestly say you’re in shape right now?
Yes. It’s dipped a bit in the past year with everything I have going on, but I’ve been lifting weights consistently for over 25 years, I’ve been an active competitive athlete in adult sports leagues for most of my 20s, my early 30s, and all of my 40s so far. I won’t blow anyone away (despite all the lifting…I should get my hormones checked, lmao, I should be like 240 lbs by now😂), but I still feel pretty good with my shirt off at the beach. Hockey keeps me in good cardiovascular shape. I had to run about three city blocks to get to an appointment I was running late for, and I wasn’t too winded when I got there, despite having asthma.
For 47…. I think I’m actually in great shape. Could be a whole lot worse than it could be better, so I’ll take it👍👍
I've always been sports fit...
in the last months... I've started to become calisthenics and kick-boxing fight
slightly different to what I prefer and am used to, but so far... I kind of like it
the point is to remain physically active
Absolutely... And I'm often told how fit and strong I look. My job is manual so I use a lot of upper body strength and plus I have always practiced sports, I used to swim competitively, I practiced rhythmic gymnastics, martial arts and dance when I was younger and now as an adult I hike at high altitudes, swim and do a lot of yoga, pilates and strength training body weight based workouts so you can get an idea of my level of fitness... add to that my healthy diet and habits that help.
Lol!!! So glad I inspire you that much...🧡
Thank you!!
Yes, I am.
And, I'm proud of myself for getting to this point and staying here.

right now as in recently i am not, i developed a beer belly in the last couple months i need to cut off drinking.
but before that yes i was in shape, i was not a gym rat body builder but i did had abs since i had high muscle mass and low fat.
the last year was so boring, my friends went to military for their obligatory soldierhood and i kind of left with only 2 guys to hang out where 1 of them doesn't really much to talk about other than woman and his father basically chained him to his house since he born. the other one is working so we only got the hang out after work if he is not exhausted since he works 12 hour shift. so i kind of increased my alchohol intake to not feel as bored.
I've never been able to run for very long because of asthma and pneumonia but, if I could just drop another 80 pounds, yeah, I'd be fit. So far, I've already lost about 80. Until I started gaining about 20 years ago, I was ALWAYS about 185 or so.
I'm in as good shape as my age allows for :D
Not too impressing, but compared with age-mates I do well enough.
Hah hah :) Yes- we do have a reputation.
nope lol
i’m pretty weak
I had a total hip replacement in January. I have been working out hard but I am not back to where I was before. It provably will take a year.
With two young extremely boisterous children, I'll let you work this out for yourself! lol
"I'm so out of shape you could donate my body to science fiction" -Rodney Dangerfield🤣
The last 5 years. Have been rough for me. I've had some health challenges. I've always maintained my health through 30 minutes of cardio everyday and playing basketball. 5 years. ago i was 45 and still dunking a basketball. But 5 years ago i got hurt at work. Busted up both my wheels so to speak. I can't play basketball like i used to. I can't run. I can still walk normally and don't limp but my feet are not the same. This is hard to explain to people because i look completely normal but i'm not. At least not like i was. The doctors said they would have to completely reconsruct my foot to make it normal again. And no my feet don't look screwed up other than a bunion. It's just sort of unstable. And that the doctors say if i'm not having significant pain, they don't want to mess with it.
So, that puts me where i'm at. I can only shoot around a little and watch the game i love so much. But i was joking with my Rodney Dangerfield comment. I've lost a bit, but not my sense of humor. After i got hurt i wasn't able to do much for a while. I put on weight. I've spent the last year and a half taking that off using the treadmill. I can walk, but i can't run. I joke that this probably had to happen. An injury was inevitable for me. Because in less i got hurt i would have been an 80 year old guy eventually trying to keep dunking a basketball.🤣

No way! I was athletic and a gym guy back in my late teens and early 20's but now i'm overweight, not fit at all 🤦🏻♂️
Disappointed eyyy miss phoenix from bouvet island 😂
No but I'm thinking of becoming fit. When I was younger I used to runaround. Now I'm just a lard ass.
My stamina isn't what it used to be, but I'm working on it. Still relatively fit, though.
Not to an athletes level but way above the average person
I do. I'm 21 and go for a trail run or lap swim about 6 days a week. Some pullups, pushups and crunches round it out. I'm not into weight lifting and am not some muscle bound gym freak however.
There are basic measurements to quantify what physically fit actually means. Most people are not
yup just got to 12% body fat and celebrated by eating enough cake that im probably back up to 15% lol
Yes, I'm physically fit, can do everything I need to do, but I'm no athlete.
no, because I had a surgery that caused me to have to sit around to get better. I used to be in amazing shape. I will get back into good shape again.
I think so. I dance, and do medium distance-running (3-5 km / 2-3 miles) as a hobby. Flexibility, and stamina is there. Strength: I'm not a body builder, not mighty strong, but I think being able to lift heavy isn't a necessity for fitness.
I'm not the fittest person, but I ain't the least fit either. I'm scary strong 💪
I keep myself in shape
Ohh yeah , I'm down to race
It's so fun lol
Not at the moment
I am not an athlete, but yes.
Yes I run daily in all weather. Unless it’s a downpour.
What do you think?
I'm fitter than most 🤷♂️
Lol yes
Very much so.
I think I'm in decent shape.
No I need to lose weight
Yes, I would say I’m in good shape
No, stress and slowly dying isn't helping
Sure despite a 2021 stroke and being 73.
Yes, I am. I do Pilates four times a week.
Yup.
YES!!!
Yes I would
