TLDR. I rambled a bit. Recalled I do actually know the answer. The answer is yes, it can be unheathy but you might not care much as it won't be quick and is largerly reversible up to a point.
Aaand because deleting felt odd. I just kept the rambling below. Feel free to ignore it.
I am shocked that I do not know this. It just seems like the odd little type of factoid that should be inside my head.
The closest I can recall is that one Chinese Emperor with a foot fetish who had young women, children at times, wrap their feet in special ways to mold how they grew and looked.
It is not strange to believe that if your feet are constantly at a certain angle it becomes a norm. For example! You could hold out your hand and relax it. Based on what you normally do your fingers will slip into different default relaxed states. Phone hand, keyboard hand, fighters and construction workers get a special type, so on. Naturally at the very least even as adults our feet will also shift their natural state.
Not really sure if it would bother you though. Oh. Factoids popping into my head. There is quite a lot of interesting related documentation on ballet dancers. Very relevant as it boils down to lasting strain due to a posture. I do not recall too many details unless I type for another minute so suffice it to say that from looking at professional ballet we can state that excessively keeping your feet in a given position will increase the risk of foot injuries and also possibly lead to, as previously assumed, mild changes in your normal physiological state. Either way, unless done excessively any change should be very slow and you can notice and adapt early. Might as well tldr this to save people time.
I'm actually not able to wear flat shoes anymore
That would be the aforementioned change and warning sign. If it is a health concern while I am not a health professional the safe thing to do, apart from seeing one, would be to give your feet a rest.
A bit of reading, tv, gaming or alike actually improves eyesight. Contrary to belief. Too much of it hurts them. Your position is the same. Establish variance and you're probably good. Or you know, talk to someone who has more knowledge on the topic.
I am barefoot sometimes
Honestly, every day? Probably not. 😅 I love how heels look, but wearing them constantly can put extra pressure on your toes, ankles, knees and back.
Iād definitely give my feet a break with flats or comfortable shoes sometimes. Looking cute is important, but so is being able to walk when Iām 70. 😂👠
Let's be honest. I don't feel well anymore with flats
I understand, but not all the time
I don't even own flat shoes anymore. But I'm usually barefoot at home
I wear heels to work, but once at my desk, the heels come off. It is not good for the feet to walk in them all day long.
Not healthy to wear every day.
