How insane are you on a scale of 1 to 10?

Let’s set the scale first. If 1 is completely healthy and well adjusted and 10 is completely bonkers oughta be locked up even if i’ve never done anything, then i am probably a 3 or 4. Factoring in that most crazy people don’t realize that they are crazy, of course. In my mind, i’m extraordinarily well adjusted considering my life experience to date. I would put myself around 2 or 3, but i might be 4 or 5 and have no idea. You kinda hafta check with your closest family and friends if you’re concerned that you might be losing your marbles. Hopefully you have people who will be honest with you, for your own good.
I have historically had a severe temper. There are people who might have put me around eight or nine, but not to my face. Ell oh ell!

This is kind of a really bad question. Insane is a legal term, not a medical term. I think you should have picked a different way of expressing whatever it is you were trying to express.

Sorry. I wasn't trying to make it medical. Gag made it fall under health and fitness. I know it can be a sensitive word to use from a psychological standpoint. I just meant in terms of emotional insanity not literal insanity. Like schizophrenia or something. Which I have by the way. I would never use that word to make fun of people who have mental illness. Because I do.

Language evolved from people using it the way they find comfortable. Almost how "idiot" evolved from a legal term to medical term to anger expression.

Similarly "autist" quickly already became a synonym for "nerd" and "schizo" became synonymous with religiosity.

But to answer her question, i consider myself level 3 insane, and just months ago was level 8, and look forward to going down to 1.
