Do you wash your hands after going to the bathroom?

Simple question. Do you or do you not? And reason if you want?

Always. Incessantly, you might say. I wash my hands before touching my laptop, so if I have a break between classes I find myself going to the restroom to wash my hands. I turn off the water with my arm so that I don't touch the nasty faucet, and then I open the doors between the bathroom and the library with a paper towel -- which is tossed into the trash before I get to the campus library couches. Assuming I don't touch anything, my hands are then clean enough to type and perhaps eat (on those rare occasions where I actually bring something).

I doubt the accuracy of the numbers in the poll, as well as the effectiveness of the washing of those people who do actually wash. I constantly see people leaving a stall and walking right out the door. Touching door handles. Touching water fountains. Touching chairs. Tables. Pencils. They have SHIT PARTICLES on their hands, and they're touching stuff that YOU touch. Think about it. Shit particles.

But the truth is there is so much nastiness around us, it hardly matters. I wash my hands because it makes me feel better. It's one of the few things I do that I know is pretty much useless. Other people touch my keyboard. Other people touch my phone. And don't even get me started on money.

NEVER!

I don't pee on my hands and you can be certain my d*** is cleaner then a persons hands to begin with so I see no reason to touch the germ infested utilities. Also I empty my back-end bowls once a day in the mornings, after which I shower, so again, no reason to wash my hands.

The only time I wash my hands is after a smoke with waterless hand sanitizer.

Not washing your hands after using the bathroom is truly disgusting. It spreads diseases and that most are unaware they even have. Think about what you're going to touch that others will touch too when you go without washing your hands. Would you want someone doing the same thing to you?

I wash my hands after going to the bathroom in public always. 3/10 times at home I don't. Sometimes it's really not necessary and it gets excessive. It's definitely not going to kill me and I rarely get sick.
