The doctor has just told you, your heart cannot handle the stress if you want to get pregnant, so you can't have a child.

How would you feel?

I have a heart murmur, but I don't think it would affect me if I were to get pregnant. If I did have a bad heart problem and my body couldn't handle being pregnant and I was trying to have kids well them I would be.. well.. heart broken! I would be so upset. I would want to still try and maybe just make sure to really take care of myself, if the doctor said this would be too risky, then I would look for other ways. I would look into a serrogate mother or adopt maybe.There's pleanty of children out there already who need homes.

i would be so sad because having a family is important to me and I would be worried about guys not wanting to marry me because I can't have their children.

i found out at 17 I can't have kids. guys have NEVER had an issue with it and are fine with it. the guy I'm seeing now wants to be a dad 100% and LOVES kids. if a guy truly cares about you he won't care and will support and be with you.

I'd be upset but if I planned to settle down with her, it wouldn't affect my decision. There is always adoption.

Honestly I'd find it upsetting but doesn't mean we can't work something out. Of course doctors can be wrong too.

well I found out I can't have kids anyways due to endometriosis, pelvic adhesion disease and annovulation(from an unknown endocrine/hormonal imbalance) so I wouldn't be bothered by it. I would just be more worried about my heart than being a mother. my teacher's sister had heart surgery as a chid due to a defect and he told her she couldn't have kids because the stress on her heart and she just had her THIRD child. so anything is possible! good luck :) remember you can always adopt or use a surrogate to carry you're child

I wouldn't want to live at first, but I would get over it and eventually get myself together. My husband I would adopt a child or multiple children through the years though, because I truly want to be a mother :')
