Which of the poll describes your viewpoint better? (Sorry they're so extreme)
What is your life philosophy? How do you view your place?
I've always liked "A person who won't die for something is not fit to live."- Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.
I think everyone needs a cause. Of course, I'm a historian. I study people who died for their beliefs all the time, and I'm sure that can really affect my sense of reality in the world. But think of it this way: every major freedom, every major event, every time history has been changed, someone died to get it there.
I guess I would say. . .
I live for love. I follow my heart and do what makes me happy, and as long as I'm being honest with myself, then I feel successful.
Al;l our lives , all aspects of them, should be involved with seeking something or someone worth dying for. Otherwise it's going to wind up as some sort of degenerate behavior.
I only have one life to live, and in that life, I would like to be able to experience as much as I can. And I will not succeed in life until I can
