Because I play chess everyday, my life revolves around controlled mayhem. A scientist in a Ted talk was discussing the principles of learning any discipline, best described with the equation,
K p t
Knowledge
practice
and a little talent.
Chess to me me is a microcosm of the universe, all pieces orderly lines up in perfect symmetry, and I think it’s the third law of thermodynamics, that discusses the principle of entropy, always increasing, cells dividing, molecules colliding, somewhere in the madness there is beauty.
I’m playing life to win. That’s what I believe in a nutshell, it’s about duality, taking the good with the bad, learning from my mistakes.
And never giving up.

Your question implies that science is mutually exclusive with philosophy, although that's not how I see it. Science is the matter of knowledge, philosophy is the matter of mind. Philosophy is the opposite of religion, though.
I live according to Stoic principles. It helped me to find my purpose and stick with it, deal with any negativity productively and be more productive, mindful and tolerant in general. Sometimes, I doubt my choice, but I couldn't have come with reasonable arguments to persuade me. This seems to suit me well, the results are practical and satisfying.
I have a few that I draw upon, and yes I abide the tenets of which I draw. Cosmicism, stoicism, nihilism, existentialism etc
You've got one life, live it how you want to live it (but not at the expense of others)

Two things you're philosophy of life should be obtainable, or else you have the nihilistic philosophy, which in that case God help ya buddy.
I have two philosophies; the first is ,"The hardest part in life that makes the rest of it so easy, is letting go." It essentially means that in regards to anything, whether it would be a struggle, an emotion of love or anger, caring or apathy, compassion or grudge, especially towards a person or a situation that seems hopeless, you must never forget that there's always the choice of simply walking away. And for emotion, you must always remember, to let go.
The second is ,"A well-rounded man should be a warrior, an artisan, and a philosopher."-Benvenuto Cellini
Those are my two biggest but I have plenty of other thirdly philosophy that applies towards everyday life. This is my personal philosophy for life. Treat people with kindness and work hard for the things you want to achieve in your life. Life will always have its hurdles but we humans are built to endure. To err is to be human, it's fine to make mistakes as long as you learn from those mistakes. Basically don't be an asshole and do your best to be a positive influence in this world.
Paul Auster: “Good begets good; evil begets evil; and even if the good you give is met by evil, you have no choice but to go on giving better than you get."I attribute this to other people, but it's Hanlon's Razor. Sometimes people are evil, but most are just stupid and/or lazy.
My personal mantra for life is, "Respect everyone until they give you a reason not to; then all bets are off."My philosophy? Money is absolutely everything in this world.
And yes, I live by this philosophy. Money is the answer for everything. The last 2 were my eye openers in my life. So I made it, but i keep hustling cause i dont know what to do with myself otherwise then to build mo wealth. Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude.
The world leaders and the money bags constantly plot against me.
My ''philosophy'' is one of evasion and not giving fucks.
I found to have much in common with Diogenes - that could make me a Neo-cynic?Do it simple.
Which means that what is the simplest is context sensitive.Yes. "Don't be evil but don't buy shit other try to sell on daily base"
Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrreeeeee yyyyyyyooooouuuu a transgender or lesbian woman?
