What alcoholic beverages do you drink?

Question

I'm a big beer guy. As a metal head, beer suits my every needs. Lots of it (satisfying to chug), cheap, and the symbol of a callous, common man, which I am. Yum! I love blue moon, sapporo, and I'll do Heineken if I can't get the former. Sam Adams if I like a bit of punch.

I'll also do JD but frankly hard liquor tastes like sh*t. It's not that I can't take the strength of it.. .it just honestly tastes like sh*t. Granted, beer tastes like sh*t too, but it's chilled, there's lots of it, and it feels so good going down!

So what do you drink?

Vodka: this is the most versatile. It is good with just about any mixer and gets you f***ed up quickly

Beer: I only drink this at home or at the pub watching a football match. I actually like the taste and it is the best with some salty food like pizza or something. Outside the UK though (hotter climates) it is nice to cool off and makes for a nice way to chill with friends outdoors.

Rum and coke: The coke part is essential, just f***ing rum taste like sh*t! This stuff is nice with friends in a table just talking and bullsh*ting. When ever I go to the carribean to visit cousins we will start off with beers then by the end of the night we will have finished a bottle of rum and coke. Important: Lots of ice!

You are drinking the wrong kinds of beer then.

Maybe I'm spoiled by living in the best beer country in the world, but brands like Heineken, Miller, Budweiser, Coors, Sam Adams, Blue Moon, etc... are f***ing terrible. That's why people chug them, because they don't want to taste the f***ing things.

Good beer should be enjoyed.

I'm slightly embarrassed with what I drink and how much I can handle. I drink like a sailor, and it's always been that way.

I love beer. I got reaaally into it in Europe (duh!). Amstel is my ultimate favorite :)

With spirits, if I'm drinking it straight it has to be tequila - it's my #1 drink of choice. I'm not huge on vodka at all, but I love me some rum (a.k.a. pirate's drink, which is BADASS). I also like whisky/bourbon if it's mixed with coke.

I like sweet wines, too :) But bubblies make me feel icky.

Gotta be Jack Daniels Or Tequilla :') The only beer that's acceptable is Carling, but it has to be ice cold. And not in a bottle or can. has to be pulled from the pump in a pub.

I really like Coors Light... It's super drinkable but still has great taste, and it's usually my go-to beer when I have one, but I also like Corona, Dos Equis, Sam Adam's Cherry Wheat, Blue Moon's pretty good, and up north I really liked Labatt Blue.

I don't drink much but these have all been beers that I've liked... but I usually just stick to light beers.

Yeah I'm a metal head too, but I like hard liquor much more than beer.  Vodka is great, and id take a jack and coke over beer any day haha.  The only beer I like is shock top and corona.

Totally with you there. Switched over to beer when I was 25 and never looked back. Never gotten a hang-over since started drinking beer
