What do guys think of a girls period? Do they think it's gross... do they not even think about it? Just wondering...

I try to avoid any discussion of it. If my wife starts talking about it, I just ignore her, or change the subject.

The only thing men really need to know about periods is that we're in pain, we need chocolate, and we may whine. That way, he can be a hero and bring us chocolate and Midol. Plus, if he's smart, he can rent a sappy chick-movie so as to distract her from whining. Forewarned is forearmed, man.
