Making a lunch for my boyfriend and bringing it to him at work...what to do?

i like the simple foods and he likes pretty much anything...i don't really cook but I'm good at learning and I want to impress him big time! I'm going to his work on his lunch break and giving him a meal and I want it to be good and good looking. I'm 17 and so is he and I don't have much money as of now but my mom has lots of stuff I can use...no seafood tho please thanks for the help!

Pasta would be the easiest. Can't really go wrong boiling the noodles. I think Fettucine Alfredo tends to look a little more classier than regualr spaghetti and tastes better too. Just boil the noodles and buy the alfredo sauce at the store. Unless he's some inspiring chef in a culinary arts program, he won't be able to tell if the sauce was store bought or homeade. Add some broccoli for some green and maybe chicken if you can cook it.

Make something simple but with an effort! Like.. Vegetables (Pepper fruit? Or /and other kinds of fruit) and you cut out little figures, on a half sandwich so he can see the effort you made! I think it will make him smile.
