If you're open to the idea of a snack, I'd definitely suggest trying hummus (whatever your favorite kind is - I personally can't go without roasted garlic hummus for more than a couple of days) with crackers or corn chips. Yes, corn chips! It's one of those odd combinations most people wouldn't think of, but when you actually try it it just blows your mind. I tend to favor yellow or blue corn chips for this, but that's really just a personal preference. :P
Oh, and if you happen to have a blender handy, fruit/yogurt smoothies are incredibly easy to make (albeit a bit messy on the clean-up end), and quite tasty/nutritious as well! Have one of those with your hummus and chips, and you'll be a happy camper!
yep, italian cuisine. Buy mozzarella and cherry tomatoes (in a supermarket cherry tomatoes are tastier than normal tomatoes, but if you can get the tomatoes from a farmer, then go for it), cut them in slices and put on a plate. put a bit of extra virgin olive oil. then complete with parma ham, delicious fast and fresh and healthy. it's called 'caprese'. google it for an impression of how the dish looks like. basil is a good addition, anything else is a bit of rubbish in my view. simple and easy is the best, it's very tasty on its own, adding other things (e.g. oregano) just covers the original taste. yummy good lunch (I just had it today myself)
What I am going to list, some of them aren't necessarily foods to cook but are those that you can put together.
-Boiled eggs
-Wheat bread with peanut butter
-Soup
-Grilled chicken salad
-Cereal (who says cereal is only for breakfast? lol!)
eggplant omelette (only egg whites if you want to go low-fat) with mushrooms and corn

I am 98 and I still eat 2 bags of Doritos a day. I went to munchie rehab, I hung out with Kirstie Allie when she was being a "good girl", I was butt buddies with Richard Simmons for a while, I handcuffed myself to a radiator for 3 years. NOTHING worked sadly. Here I am. A life wasted away by eating Taco flavored Doritos (yes they are the best ones!) and eggrolls and crying sadly alone and 15 pounds overweight. I have no good advice for you and sorry I have no ideas of good "healthy" meal. Oh and the second guy loves ALL your shoes! :P:P:P:P
i know what iam going to have right away, make myself a home made hamburger. use lean ground beef mmmmmmm good. put my own special seasonings in it to. takes a bit of preparation to make the patties though, well worth the effort. if burgers is your thing.
It's a bit warm here today so I'm thinking a fat lobster roll accompanied by some raw cauliflower and broccoli florets dusted with an aged balsamic would be nice. And how bout a peach-wine spritzer on the side?
Sweet and Yummy: Scrambled eggs and toast with strawberry preserve.
Random: A plate full of random plants/ Sti-fry LOL
