Desperate to lose weight in the next 2 weeks, possible to lose ten pounds?

I'm trying out for this modeling agency and my weight is the only thing stopping me, just ten pounds I need to lose

It may be possible...but not healthy. I know when I took up softball in high school I lose 12lbs in 2 weeks but that's because I would workout for 2-3hrs everyday not including games. Losing ten pounds with just a regular workout regime is going to be hard and it's probably going to be a lot easier to gain the weight back in you lose it so quickly. Have you heard of myfitnesspal.com ? It's helpful with setting up goals to help you lose weight by using caloric intake for you (height and weight) and fitness goals. It's also going to be A LOT harder if you already have a slim, skinny, or toned body.

that would be horrible for your health. just start a healthy,but low-cal diet and workout,it will take longer than two weeks if you want the weight to stay off.

your weight won't stop you from getting in,if you have the height,body type and face to be a model but you're too heavy,they'll just tell you to lose some weight,they won't just reject you.

You mean your actual weight? Like you will go there and they will weight you?

Do what boxers and wrestlers do before a weight in- lose your water weight.

Before you go to be weighed be sure to lose all your water, make yourself sweat, don't drink, etc... This will temporarily knock a good kilogram or two off your weight (no clue what a pound is, sorry). Its not permanent, once you drink it'll come back, but the scales will show you as being lighter during that period.

It's only possible if you DO eat and work out adequately. It's not about the amount you eat, it's about what you eat. Forget that and you'll find yourself quickly over the weight limit as soon as you're hired.

Eat lean protein like egg whites, non fat cottage cheese, and turkey. Protein keeps you the fullest, then you can snack on veggies. Put veggies in things to make them taste good. Avoid salt, sugar, and refined carbs. Drink water and green tea, chew gum, and do pilates. You don't want to do too much vigorous exercise or it could make you gain too much muscle. But you can do a lot of yoga and pilates every day, and it won't hurt you, it'll just make you slimmer.

10 lbs, or 10 lbs of fat? These are entirely different. Do you need to weigh less on a scale, or look thinner?

If weight is the ONLY thing stopping you, they'll take you on and tell you to lose the weight.

Its too much weight in too short of time. If you lose it you will gain it right back, or you risk a lot of stress on your internal organs.

I think it's a bit too much too soon. These things take time so that your body is accustomed to the changes. Losing weight fast is nothing but trouble.

Keep eating healthy and exercising every other day, remember to drink lots of water.

Bullsh*t. Not gonna happen, you're gonna starve yourself and your body will store all the calories, thus not shedding the weight. You can try but it's not worth it IMO.

5lbs a week is definitely possible. But if you're already thin than it might be a little more challenging.
