Would you rather be a stay at home mom or a working mom & guys which would you prefer your wife to be?

not trying to start a feminist debate here, just wondering. Lets say you just had a baby, you took 3 months off work. Your husband just got promoted so now he makes enough money so that you don't have to go back to work if you don't want to, what would you choose to do and why?

For me it depends, If I don't like my job then id much rather stay home and be with my baby, If I love what I do and it enriches my life then id probably go back to work.

I chose to stay home and started my own childcare business so I could enjoy my kids and make my own money,it doesn't feel right to me regardless if he makes a lot or not, to depend on his income..i like having and making my own money.

I have my own career aspirations and don't want to be dependent on my future husband so therefor I'll be a working mother. The ideal however would be a job that enables me to work flexi time so that I can get off earlier.

you can only get away with being a stay-at-home mom for five years or so, when the kids get into school, then it's time to go to work.

Eh.. I don't see how much value I would have if all I did was cook, clean, and tend to the children.. I would have at least a part time job. Keep my mind stimulated somehow..
