Do you think someone wearing contacts is stupid?

I'd like to try them since I need contact lenses for my bad vision, I kind of think of it as the same as a person dying their hair a different color. Lot of my friends think its try hard though and dumb... I kinda think its cool

Hmm they look pretty if their colors are natural..

But I am not sure..

I heard that there are some problems with the colored ones.

They cause some kind of blindness if you often use them and frequently.

While the medical lenses without colors are ok,

as long as you sterile them and clean them very well.

Just use the medical transparent ones and stay away from the risks. ^_^

Also, in case if you are gonna make the laser operation

to correct your vision, physicians always advise to stop wearing

contact lenses for at least 6 months before the operation.

No, it's a personal decision.

Some people can't pull of glasses, so contacts are better.

I personally like people with glasses better. I like wearing glasses because I feel that I look more sophisticated. That's my person opinion.

So if you want to wear contacts it's not bad. Unless you're ALWAYS wearing color contacts, then that's kinda stupid. If you wear color ones occasionally it not a big deal.

Its not the same as dying your hair a difference color, because hair dye doesn't have the chance to cut your eye and even make you go blind.

Regular contacts are simply clear. Colored ones have the bands on them, and the bands have to react to light the same way your eye does, or else either your vision would be obstructed or you would show 2 eye colors. The technology isn't perfect and people have reported injuries from repeated use of them.

And the ones that work better are much more expensive.

Colored contacts I find stupid (unless it is for a costume) because they look freaky. I rarely ever seen anyone look good with different colored eyes. I think we need to improve contacts so that colored contacts looks natural and not obvious.

overall contacts are cool but I really like those freaky animal or monster contacts, thr fun lol but I dnt wear them. maybe one day

I got samples of blue, green and 2 varieties of grey. The blue looks nice, the green is very intense, one of the greys is scary and one is nice. They look natural, most of them do, like I don't get people saying it looks fake, to an untrained eye you wouldn't be able to tell
