What is the normal amount to contact boyfriend/girlfriend?

Forget distance or what not what is the normal amount should a boyfriend call you or text you? If the choice isn't on the poll then tell me what is your opinion.

Of your choices, I'd be happy with C - once or twice a week. If we both have other things going on, such as work, school, family obligations, etc. I won't expect or demand that he gives me all of his attention. Just enough to let me know I still mean something to him. 2-3 times a week, or even some sort of message daily would be plenty to keep me satisfied. But hourly or by the minute - seriously? That's just desperation and clinginess at it's worst. You're boyfriend/girlfriend - not conjoined twins. There needs to be both independence and interdependence, not just dependence.

If you are not near one another everday if possible (call or at least txt) if you are near one another text everyday at least. But honestly if I don't care where you are or care that you're not txting or calling then I don't give a damn about you really or I'm doing something I'm not suppose to. hahhahhhaha.

I text my boyfriend almost constantly, I would say I get at least text every half hour. I talk on the phone with him probably once every other week.
