Well if someone 10 years younger than me was hitting on me, I would be hit on by a 12 year old so it would be very uncomfortable. Conversely, would you think a 70 year old hitting on a 80 year old woman would be nearly as awkward.

As for some one your age, a 28 year old hitting on a 38 year old isn't as big of a deal. Lots of guys like older women. I wouldn't categorize it as mental illness at all. As for feeling awkward, I would feel awkward if anyone of any age were to hit on me, but I think that has more to do with personality than with age.

No, they don't have a mental illness. It's the on thing these days for youjng men to try and attract the attention of an attractive older woman (cougar). I don't particularly understand why this is the case but from experience, if a guy thinks you're hot then everything else barel matters...age included.

10 years is a lot, all the same. In most cases, I would think they have some sort of mother fixation. Thatt kind of thing is pretty common in the US.

They're not really atracted to older women, they're attracted to some sort of missing mother figure in their lives.

But it's just a minor neurosis, these guys aren't dangerous or anything.

Some of them just may find you attractive, regardless of age...maybe they all don't have this sort of issue, but 10 years..I'd say many of them do.

10 years isn't that long bro, your being close minded as sh*t an attractive person is an attractive person. I'm 20 and I have seen girls in their 30s that I find attractive... is it because I have mommy issues no its because they are pretty and pretty is pretty regardless of age.

Well it depends on who you are. A guy 10 years younger than me means he's 12, so that's probably not normal but if you're 28 and he's 18, then it's normal.

I can't vote because I don't agree with either of your options.

I don't think they are mentally challenged, nor do I think it's normal. I don't mind people of any age 'thinking' I'm pretty or whatever, BUT, hitting on me in a way other than friendly is not my thing, especially if they are 10+ years younger than me, or 10+ years older than me.
