My ex and I broke up a long time ago. It'll be 2 years in April. We're neighbors so we tend to see each other even if its really briefly kind of often. I usually see him on my way out while he's starting up his car in the mornings. When we see each other, we usually look at each other and hold eye contact for a couple of seconds. Every now and then, he'll wave hello to me. This morning as I was standing outside waiting for my ride, we looked at each other and maintained eye contact for what felt like a long time (even though it was probably only about 10 seconds) until I ended up looking away. I'll admit that I still like him but, what do you guys think this prolonged eye contact was about?
