I find it's best to lose the weight slowly. It's much easier to keep it off. I've done low card diets lots of times and I lost weight very quickly but I gained it all back. But then I did a low calorie diet and I didn't lose the weight as quickly but it's been much easier to keep off because it's easier to maintain and keep as a part of your daily life. If you take a little extra in one meal, you can make up for it by being healthier for the rest of the day. There's no, "well I already messed up today so I'll just try again tomorrow" excuse like a low carb diet would have.
There are a couple of methods. One which may take a bit longer is to change your overall eating habits. Like only drinking water with every meal and also try to drink water when you start to feel hungry. Stop eating meals before bed time because you won't burn all that food.
Another one is to use diet powders. I have no idea what brands there are where you're from but we have a brand here in Sweden called Nutrilett which you mix with water. I have tried it and it was very effective. You can basically just sit in a chair all day and still lose a lot of weight. But I wouldn't suggest it if you have a very active lifestyle.
Also, I really don't think it's that necessary to work out if you don't feel like it. Walks and other activities are just as good when you change your eating habits.
I wish the best of luck to you!
Exercise does NOT make you thin! Your diet is 66% of your weight. Exercise is only the rest. I've just seen too many people already trying and failing bitterly losing weight through all kinds of sports. Even if they really motivated about it. It just doesn't work for most cases. But eating less has a much higher chance of showing serious results so your choice it excellent.
It's more about eating less and avoiding fats than what specifically you put in your mouth. Just keep 3 feet away from the refrigerator and you'll start seeing results.
Exercise is to build muscles and stamina, you can even be fat and have lots of them both.

no-excuse-fitness.orgEat less. You will have to exercise more. Do something that will be a lifestyle change. The problem with most diets is that people don't want to eat like that for the rest of their lives. So make changes to what you eat and drink that are acceptable to you for a long term. For example, cut out soda - drink water instead. And never go back to drinking sodas.
Measure and weigh out portions of meat/vegetables. Lower the amount of simple carbs you eat.If you want to lose the most amount of weight, you still need to exercise, but improving your diet can help.
Here is a good diet to follow:
breakfast: 2 egg whites, one whole egg, slice of whole wheat toast or a cup of plain oatmeal, some milk and a multivitamin
snack : a cup of yogurt
lunch: a salad with low-fat dressing
snack : a fruit (apple or banana, for example)
dinner: steak or chicken, 2 sides of veggies
desert: a small bar of dark chocolate and wineCut out fruit, cut down on carbs. Eat plenty of protein and hit the gym everyday.
Or go on a detox diet:
No coffee
No tea
No white pasta or white bread or white rice
No chocolate, sweets etc
Eat loads of nuts veg
No fruit
Loads of eggs
Loads of protein
Go to the gym at least 4 times a weekThere's no such thing as a perfect diet plan because everyone's metabolism is different.
It would depend on how old you are, how tall, how heavy, how much muscle you have, what sort of lifestyle you lead, whether you're allergic to anything, etc.. etc...You need to exercise. And I'm not gonna spout off the same sh*t everyone else is about how you won't be effective without it. I'm saying it because you will get disgusting loose skin, something I've had to deal with. I lost 50 pounds by diet and the skin is really nasty. Make sure you lose it slowly and build muscle where the fat would have taken up the space, then you will weigh less and look leaner. Even if you don't care about appearance, the loose skin feels really f***ing irritating.
Drinking water eating healthy unprocessed foods 5 to 6 times a day and eating your calories for weight loss will help very slowly but honestly exercise can let you eat about whatever you want
What's your current weight/waist size?
How much control do you have over what you eat?
How fast do you want to do this? Why are you not incorporating exercise into your weight loss plan? This is doomed to failure if you're going to half-ass it!
