Sweetie, relax, Dr. P to the rescue here. As usual, I have done my homework, and will fill you in on the different "spots" to see what avenue you flow under here.xx
Firstly, it is not uncommon for a woman to experience a bit of brown discharge after her period. It may be disconcerting, perhaps, to wear panty liners for a few more days, but nonetheless.
Hormonal fluctuations are the most common reasons for brown or pinkish discharge. Sometimes when a woman ovulates, it can cause lite pink or brown spotting during this cycle. Might be left over blood and your uterus is expelling the old blood.
If this then turns into red for more than 2-4 days, consult a physician.
On another note, however, if you've had unprotected sex during the cycle, this could be an indication you could be pregnant. You hinted around, questioning, could you possibly be pregnant?
I am assuming that you have had sex during this time, and if so, it might be wise to take a pregnancy test. But wait another week or so, and just test yourself to see if the brown bleeding has stopped.
Good luck. Hope this helped.xx
