Would you rather be blind or deaf?

It would suck to be either, but if you had a choice - would you rather be blind or deaf?

I choose blind, because at least you'll be able to hear music and the world around you. But, you won't be able to check out chicks and watch sports, and that sucks. Just seems lonely to not be able to hear anything but whats in your own head.

I rather keep my sight because words are useless, meaningless at times, and being able to see , i can continue to observe body language to determine if that person is trustworthy, especially being a girl, having sight could keep me safe. Imagine a really hot voice asks me if i needed help crossing the street (if i were blind) and then imagine that he actually looks really really creepy and shady. The type of person you would stay away from due to the vibes. If i were blind, i would be dead, taken across the street into a cellar and chopped into pieces! (ok that went a bit far) Keep'n' my eye sight and learn to sign!

Definitely deaf, if you were blind you pretty much couldn't use computers at all, could only read a small portion of literature, you'd be extremely reliant on people, you couldn't see some of the greatest and most beautiful sights, and you couldn't even see your own lover's body.

Losing your hearing is bad, but losing your sight is worse in so many ways. There's a reason humans put more stress on their sense of sight than hearing.

Deaf. Not being able to see really shrinks the amount of things possible to do in life. But not being able to hear only takes away a little bit. The loss of music sucks, but I rather give up music for more things I could still do vs being able to hear music but have very little of other things to do.

I also love reading, but there are audiobooks for that.

Blind... But both are pretty difficult to live with. Especially if you're not born blind or deaf...
